Last Best West: Stories of the Canadian West 'Last Best West:Stories of the Canadian West' was Dale & Laura Budd's Centennial Project. The film uses a combination of documentary style narratives and music videos featuring original music written by the Budds to tell the story of the Canadian West. The film project's production on DVD was assisted by the Department of Canadian Heritage through the Alberta-Saskatchewan Centennial Initiative.
