About the Author The forest fringe of Canada's vast northern wilderness lies just beyond Laura Budd's doorstep. The Author is an American who travels, works and lives in the Canadian Northwest . Laura has worked in remote hunting and fishing camps in northern Saskatchewan, in drilling camps in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and on the ice roads that lead to the diamond mines in the Canadian Arctic. Her home studio, Thunder Creek Studios has become a creative center for Laura and other writers, artists and musicians.
